Atmoph Window 2
Atmoph Window 2 is a smart window that allows you to see views from all over the world. Superb view, your favorite ocean view, and night views. Also, to the quaint foreign street corners. You can enjoy more than 1,000 kinds of scenery from all over the world that Atmoph has captured in 4K.
Since this display has a different objective from conventional displays, the frame is shaped with a window motif so that you can immerse yourself in the scenery beyond the window instead of the conventional design method that makes the frame as thin and inconspicuous as possible. As it is, we focused on blending into the room as an interior while creating a presence as a window.
Furthermore, by making the frame replaceable and making it possible to use various materials (wood, metal, plastic, etc.), it is possible to match with various interior spaces. In addition, only the frame is manufactured separately, making it easy to develop into a special model. (Karimoku Wormy Maple model, Disney model, Star Wars model, etc.)
We requested Karimoku to manufacture the wooden frame, and realized a frame with a high-quality texture that maximizes the warmth inherent in wood. In addition, the special model Wormy Maple model was designed by reusing maple material with bug-eating holes that is not handled in furniture.
Atmoph Window 2は世界中の景色が見れる窓形スマートウィンドウです。絶景、憧れのオーシャンビューや夜景。また、趣のある異国の街角まで。Atmophが独自に4K撮影してきた、世界各国1,000種類以上の風景を楽しめます。
これは従来のディスプレイ等とは使用シーンが違うため、フレームを限りなく細くし目立たなくする従来のデザイン手法ではなく、窓の向こうの風景に没頭してもらうために、フレームの造形は窓のモチーフをそのまま取りいれ、窓としての存在感を醸しつつインテリアとして部屋に馴染むことに注力しました。
さらにフレームを取り換えられる構成にし、様々な素材（木、金属、プラスチック等）利用できるようにすることで、様々なインテリア空間にマッチできるようにした。加えてフレームのみを別途製造してスペシャルモデルへの展開もしやすい構成になりました。（カリモクワーミーメープルモデル、ディズニーモデル、スターウォーズモデル等）
木製フレームはカリモクに製造を依頼して、木材が本来持つ温かみを最大限に生かしたクオリティの高い質感のフレームを実現した。さらにスペシャルモデルであるワーミーメープルモデルでは家具では扱われることのない虫食い穴のあるメープル材を再使用してデザインした。
