We designed a cutting board for FERMIER, a long-established brand that is a pioneer in cheese wholesale. We empathize with FERMIER's desire to spread cheese culture to more people, and have jointly produced cheese-related tools, developing three cutting boards as the first step.

Cheese producers from all over the world, FERMIER, which delivers cheese with strict quality control and attention to detail, and Sasaki Kogei in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, who we commissioned to produce this product, create cheese tools that are packed with their know-how. The craftsmanship of these three parties is fused together. And there is certainly a richness (richness, thickness, depth, richness) in enjoying cheese culture, and we worked on the design to express the combination of these two, ''Crafted Richness.''

●Round cutting board

It has a rich shape that looks just like cheese. You can cut cheese and serve it as it is. The wooden plate has an oil finish that is safe to eat. You can cut bread, cake, fruit, etc. at the table, so it is useful for breakfast and entertaining.

●Cutting board that can also be used as a plate

Although it is a cutting board, the surface with a circular depression can be used as a lunch plate or to place cut cheese. The concave curved shape of the side fits in the palm of your hand, and is designed to make the series of actions of "carrying, placing, and releasing" on the dining table look smooth and beautiful. In addition, after use, you can stand it up with the concave curved side down to dry. In order to reduce waste, we process it by attaching wood of different widths instead of a single board. Each piece has a different grain, making it a product with a rich expression.

●Artificial marble cutting board

We created a Corian board that makes cheese look even more delicious. It can be used not only for cutting cheese, but also as a plate to put the cut cheese on, and can also be used as individual plates for appetizers and desserts. The four corners on the back are cushioned with silicon, so it does not stick to the table and can be lifted smoothly. Since it is cut from a large original board, each pattern is different, and no two products have the same pattern.

●ラウンドカッティングボード

見た目はまるでチーズのような豊かなフォルムが特徴。チーズをカットしそのまま盛り付けて演出することができます。木のプレートは、口に入れても健康上の問題がないオイルフィニッシュ仕上げをしています。パンやケーキ、フルーツなどをテーブルで切り分けられるので、朝食やおもてなしにも重宝します。

●プレートにも使えるカッティングボード

カッティングボードでありながら、円形の窪みがある面はカットしたチーズをのせたりランチプレートとしても演出していただけます。手のひらにフィットする側面の凹みカーブ形状により、食卓に「運んで、置いて、手を離す」一連の動作をスムーズに美しく見えるようにデザインしています。また、使用後は凹みカーブ側を下にして立てかけて乾かすことも可能です。廃材のロスを減らすため、一枚板ではなく幅の異なる木材を貼り付けて加工しています。木目の出方が一つ一つ異なり、豊かな表情を持つプロダクトです。

●人工大理石 カッティングボード

チーズがより美味しく見えるコーリアンのボードを作りました。チーズをカットする際はもちろんのこと、カットしたチーズをのせるプレートとして演出でき、前菜やデザート用の銘々皿としても食卓で活躍します。裏の四隅にシリコンのクッション付きで、テーブルに張り付くことなく、持ち上げるのもスムーズに行えます。大きい原板から切り出すため、一つ一つ模様が異なり、同じ模様が二つとないプロダクトです。
