A chair that accompanies your daily actions and becomes part of your daily life. We pursued a comfortable seating experience that allows you to sit comfortably in a variety of positions.

Trees are often cut down in winter. Before winter arrives, trees hibernate like animals, reducing the amount of moisture flowing through their trunks. Trees cut down in winter contain less moisture and are less likely to become warped due to dryness.

Winter scenery and trees are closely related, and this chair was inspired by the scene of snow piling up on trees and houses. By adding eaves to the backrest, we not only increase the structural strength of the chair, but also designed the cushion to look like snow piling up on the chair. The eaves are the handles of the dining chair and also serve as armrests when you are in a relaxed position. We aimed to create furniture that is soft and welcomed into the space even when viewed from the back.

日常の所作に寄り添い、気兼ねなくどんな姿勢でも豊かな座り心地で、生活の景色になる椅子を追い求めた。冬景色と樹木は密接な関係である。冬の樹木は動物のように冬眠に入り樹幹を流れる水分を減らすため、伐採した樹木は水分が少なく乾燥による「くるい」が少ない。樹木や家に雪が積もる景色からインスパイアされたこの椅子は、背もたれに軒をつけることで構造強度を上げ、張地はまるで椅子に雪が積もる景色のようにデザインした。その姿は背面から見ても柔らかく、様々な空間に受け入れられる。軒は椅子の引手となり、ラフな姿勢での肘置きにもなる。
