SMUU Bookend / Tray / Pen stand
SMUU Bookend is a mountain-shaped bookend. With a strong magnet on the bottom, it can also be used as a simple wall shelf. Decorate your favorite books and accessories with your own layout. There are 2 sizes.
SMUU Tray is a simple tray made by folding steel. It has a warm, finely uneven coating. Due to the edgeless bending, it functions as a handle when lifting, but it has a minimal design to the utmost limit. If you turn the tray over on the cushion, you can use it as a simple PC table on your lap on a sofa.
SMUU pen stand was born from the scraps of the leg parts of the 1518 JIM chair. We collect and reuse extruded scraps with a special shape called instep pipes that come out of mass-produced office chairs. Finished by painting steel. The combination of pipes of different heights creates a rhythmic tabletop.

SMUU Trayはスチールを折り曲げたシンプルなトレイです。温かみのある細かな凹凸のある塗装を施しています。エッジのない曲げによって、持ち上げる際の取手として機能しつつも、極限までミニマルなデザインとなっています。クッションの上にトレイを裏返して置けば、ソファ等で膝上の簡易PCテーブルとしても使えます。
SMUU pen standは1518 JIM chairの脚部パーツの端材から生まれました。大量生産される事務椅子から出てしまう甲丸パイプという特殊な形状の押出端材を回収し再利用しています。スチールに塗装を施し仕上げています。高さの違うパイプの組み合わせは、卓上をリズミカルに演出します。
