Water Server
This water server designed for Frecious is a concept model designed for home usage. By giving it a wide space, pots can fit and filled for cooking purposes. The buttons are placed on the top for comfortable usage when standing. It is also to prevent accidental use by children, and so a lock mechanism is also in place.
For areas where water is likely to spill, the glossy finish prevents dirt from attaching and making it easy to wipe dirt off to keep the cleanliness. We explored what an water server should look like by combining the geometric form that blends in well with the interior, and the functionality to enrich everyday life.
一般家庭への普及を意識したウォーターサーバーのコンセプトモデル。鍋が入りやすいように間口を広げ、立ち姿でも使いやすいよう操作ボタンを上部にまとめた。これは子供による誤動作を避ける狙いもあり、ロック機構も合わせて採用した。従来品より受け口を80mm高くすることで、立ち姿勢でも腰が痛くならないように考慮した。水が付きやすいエリアは光沢仕上げにすることで、汚れがつきにくく掃除がしやすく清潔感が保たれるようにした。インテリアとして生活空間に馴染むシンプルな幾何形体と、生活をより豊かにする機能を掛け合わせることでウォーターサーバーの在るべき姿を模索した。
